Biography:

Kareena Kapoor was born to Randhir Kapoor and Babita in Bombay. She has an elder sister Karisma Kapoor. Her family is associated with Bollywood since ages. Her paternal great-grandfather, Prithviraj Kapoor; her grandfather, Raj Kapoor; her paternal uncles, Shammi, Shashi, Rishi, and Rajiv; as well as aunt, Neetu Singh, & Jennifer Kendall, were part of this industry.

As a child she studied in Jamnabai Narsee School in Juhu, Bombay, and thereafter was enrolled in Dehra Dun's prestigious Welham Girls' Boarding School. Then she re-located to Harvard for approximately 3 months to take a course in Information Technology and Microcomputers. Upon her return to India, she joined the Government Law College in Churchgate, Bombay, but left it after one year, to enroll in the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting School.

Her father is very protective about his daughters and didn't want them to take up acting as their profession. He wanted them to settle down.

This led to irreconcilable differences between her parents, ultimately leading to a divorce, with both sisters leaving their dad to live with their mom.

She got her first break in JP Dutta's Refuge opposite Abhishek Bachchan. The film didn't do a great business at the box office.

It was not a cake walk for her to make a mark in Bollywood despite being a star kid. She had given series of flop films in the past that includes Muje Kkuch Kehna Hai, Yaadein, Ashoka, Khushi, Mein Prem Ki Deewani hoon and many more.

It was Imtiaz Ali who made her act in his film Jab We Met which turned out to be her claim to fame film.  After Jab We Met she grabbed all big films like Golmaal Returns, Khambaqt Ishq, 3 Idiots, Golmaal 3, Bodyguard and Ra.One.

She finished shooting for Bodyguard with Salman Khan.

Personal Life:

She was dating with Shahid Kapoor for 3 years but after their break up she moved on. Now she is in relationship with Saif Ali Khan for last four years. The lovebirds are called as Saifeena in the B-town.

Rituparna Sengupta is an Indian film actress who has predominantly appeared in Bengali movie industry. She is the leading actress in Bengali films in the last decade and also stamps her position in some Hindi movies too. She was born as the daughter of Prabhir Sengupta and Nandita Sengupta on 7th November 1971 in West Bengal. She has married Sanjay Chakrabarty in 1999 and has two children Ankan (Son) and Rishona Niya (Daughter). Rituparna Sengupta has won number of national and state awards in her filmy career including Silver Lotus for best actress for Dahan in 42nd National Film Festival of India in 1998.

The short stories written by Vaikom Mohammed Basheer, Madhavikutty and M T Vasudevan Nair has been compiled together to form a theme which makes the movie interesting. Kadha Veedu will feature Lal, Manoj K Jayan, Biju Menon, Mydhili, Sarayu and Rituparna Sengupta. After giving positive remarks with Orkkuka Vallapozhum, Sohanlal has teamed with M.Jayachandran who delivers the music. Produced by Jose Thomas under the banner of Visual Dreams, Kadha Veedu would reach theatres in the second half of 2013.

Anju Sundarikal

Anju Sundarikal is an anthology directed by Amal Neerad which deals with the life of five beautiful women as mother, daughter, lover, wife and actress. This novel venture portrays five different stories with parts set by Amal Neerad, Aashiq Aby, Sameer Thahir, Anwar Rasheed and Shyju Khalid.

The segment helmed by Aashiq Abu will have 40 minutes in duration which features Biju Menon in lead along with Kavya Madhavan seen as an actress. The other stories would get the presence of Dulquer Salmaan, Nivin Pauly, Reena Mathews, Isha Shervani. Anju Sundarikal is currently undergoing shooting and is expected to hit theatres in May.

Ente Amma

Ente Amma, the directorial debut of Anil Kunjappan is another big project for Kavya Madhavan which was announced in 2009. Due to various reasons the shooting of the movie had a halt, but as now the atmosphere is comfortable, Anil Kunjappan who is a close relative of Kavya had worked with Shajoon Karyal, Jomon and M Padmakumar as associate. This movie would be a milestone in the acting career of Kavya who will be donning the life of a woman through different stages including the role of the mother of a 20 year old man. This emotional family story travels through the extreme relationship between a mother and her only son. Biju Menon, Sona Nair and Bindu Panikkar will play key roles.

Aishavum Oshoyum

Aishavum Oshoyum directed by A.K Sajan will bring Biju Menon and Kavya Madhavan in lead roles. The director himself has written the story, screenplay and dialogues.

Untitled movie directed by Hari Kumar

Hari Kumar who had give a majestic movie titled Sukrutham way back in 1994 would helm a new project with Kavya Madhavan in lead after completing Kattum Mazhayum.

Malayalam movie industry had given enormous opportunities being the stepping stone for many actors to perform their talents on big screen. After a gap of 7 years, Jennifer Antony who had been a part of the Kannada film world is back to business with malayalam movie 10.30 AM Local Call along with the young charms of malayalam. This suspense thriller directed by M S Manu (Sudhakaran) will also features Nishan, Kailash, Lal, Shritha Sivadas and Mridula Murali donning prominent roles.

Jenifer who has a close relationship with the producer (Priya Pillai) didn't look back when the role of the movie was offered. The highlight of the movie will be the novel theme which is flavoured with suspense, love, and humour. Jennifer who is also known as a professional painter will play the role of Alby's (Nishan) boss, the head of a car showroom. Even though the tile for her to fill the screen might be limited, the character does have a power feel when will really be noted. Jenifer who enjoyed working with the 10.30 AM Local Call movie team do like to keep the track stronger waiting for more challenging roles in malayalam. 

10.30 AM Local Call will be a visual treat with a majestic story running on line. The movie is about an unexpected call from a stranger which had turned the life of two couple into tragedy. The story takes another deviation as the couples try to resolve the problem with care. The director has tried to give a message as who a phone call could change the life of people. Arun Lal has scripted the movie shutting down all loopholes to make the mood of this romantic suspense thriller. 

For the lyrics of Rafeeq Ahmed and Murukan Kattakkada,Gopi Sunder has set the tune. One among them would be a party dance song which could make the viewers shake their body. Krish Kaimal who had zoomed shots for the movie 'Chapters' have given his signature wielding the camera for 10.30 AM Local Call movie. So get ready for the arrival of the moviewhich would keep the essence of a real thriller.

Staring a career in television, getting noticed and later landing up in the colourful world of entertainment would be something very special for Mrudula Murali, a budding actress who has the caliber of acting on big screen. Anchoring for 'Dial and See', a phone in programme telecast in Jeevan TV years back, Mrudula along with her brother Mithun Murali had shown their talent which was enjoyed by malayali families around the globe. This programme got high viewership rating which had brought popularity to the channel too.

The story of the movie revolves around young married couples Alby(Nishan) a car showroom manager and Ann(Mrudula) an RJ by profession who lives a cheerful family life. Vishnu and Nimmi are other two couples who lead a lovely life. Things turned around as an unexpected phone call from a stranger really gave a shock to their colourful living. 

The rest of the story goes through an exciting phase where the couple tries to find solution and deals with the problems. The director Manu Sudhakaran has tried to narrate how a phone call could alter the steady life of people. Ordinary movie fame Sritha Sivadas is handling a prominent role while Lal plays the role of Colonel Gaurivasan.

Produced by Priya Pillai under the banner of Priyalashmi Media Private Limited, 10.30 AM Local Call will have a long cast including Kailesh, Krishna, Anoop Chandran, Manraj, and Jennifer. Scripted by Arun Lal, the movie will be blessed by the splendid tunes set by 

Gopi Sunder for the lyrics of Rafeeq Ahmed and Murukan Kattakkada. The camera will be cranked by Krish Kaimal who had shown his mettle behind the screen for the movie 'Chapters'. 

Mrudula would be more excited to be a part of another project, her tamil debut 'Nagaraja Cholan MA, MLA'. The movie will be a sequel of the 1994 Sathyaraj-Manivannan's Amaidipadai. Sathyaraj will be seen as the same character as in Amaidipadai. 'Nagaraja Cholan MA, MLA' would be the 50th movie for Manivarnan as director. Ragu Manivannan (son of Manivannan) is the young hero of the film while Mrudula plays female lead role as 'Shanmugha Valli' is the film opposite to Ragu.

More interestingly her brother Midhun Murali is also an actor who had made his movie debut with 'Vajram' had debuted in tamil with Vazhakku enn 18/9". Midhun is currently a part of Black Butterfly and Buddy.

Shamna Kasim is an upcoming Malayalam film actress and model. She is popularly known by the stage name Poorna. Shamna started her career as a classical dancer which leads her into the media through reality based show in Amrita TV Super dancer competition program. She debuted in Malayalam film Ennitum. But later shifted to Telugu and Tamil film industry. She had done a major role in a Telugu film Sri Mahalakshmi.

Shamna Kasim was born on October 26 1985 in Kannur as the daughter of Muslim Malayalee parents, Kasim and Roulabi. She has 3 sisters ( Sherifa, Arifa, Sheena) and one brother ( Shanavaz). Shamna is the youngest one in the family. The family members well supported her to reach a position in film industry, especially her mother Roulabi, who was always with her in all the circumstances. Shamna Kasim had done her schooling St. Theresas Anglo Indian higher secondary school Kannur. She has learned various classical dance forms right from her childhood. Shamna had got training in Kathak, Barathanattyam, Mohiniyattam etc. At the time of schooling she represented her school in various competitions like youth festival, Roller skating championship etc. She has secured Kalathilakam of Kannur for 4 years while in school. She won a gold medal for artistic performance at the National Roller skating championship in 2003 while in class 10. She also had participated in reality show Super dancer and secures a position of third place. Well trained background in dance provides her lot of opportunities including a foothold into film.

The ultimate passion of Shamna Kasim is not acting but very much fond of dance. Anyhow her passion for dance gave her lot of opportunities and that lead to be part of films. She made debut in Malayalam film in 2004 through the film Ennitum. After that she played a minor supporting roles in films like Pachakuthira, Bhargavakandam moonnam charitham, flash and Alibhai. But the unsuccessful of the films leads to close her door in Malayalam film. But she was not ready to stop her hard work and optimism even felt disappointment about the past. She has to face lot of criticism and challenges while acting from natives and religious people as she is came from the Muslim community. But she overcame all those problems with the support of her parents and family members. They fully back her by refusing the allegations against her. After the unsuccessful years in Mollywood she has shifted to Tollywood and Kollywood. That gives her foothold in the film industry. Her debut film in Telugu provides her notable role and that give lot of offers from Tamil and Telugu film industries. The main twist in her filmy life is the role in her first Tamil film Muniyadi Vilangiyal Moonramandu. Role of that film provide critical acclaim from Tamil industry and provide lot of chances in the film. It has been long 4 years she done a role in Malayalam film. She came back in to Mollywood through the remake of Chattakkari as the character Julie. It should be a challenging role and she accepts to face that challenge. As many others left away to do the role, Shamna bravely accepted the offer hoping that it will provide a foothold in Mollywood for her. According to Shamna the role is not at all glamour or exposure or filled with intimate scenes. It is about love and family relationships and emphasizes the heroine's emotions. She also adds that it is not the old Julie; it is the new Julie in 2012. The title character of the film Chattakari perform with Hemanath Menon.
