Introduction
Archana Jose Kavi, popularly known as Archana Kavi was born on 4th January 1990 to Ms. Rosamma and Mr. Jose Kaviyil. Even though a Keralite by birth, she was born and bread in New Delhi. She entered the film industry in the year 2009 and from then she had been a good actress and she has also appeared in various TV channels as Television presenter. She used to take part in various cultural programmes from a very young age and that might have helped her a lot in acting.
Archana's Career Life
Archana Kavi entered the film industry in 2009 through the Malayalam movie "Neelathamara", directed by Lal Jose. The name of her character in the movie was "Kuttimalu". Kuttimalu was a maid in Kailesh's house and they fell in love but later due to circumstances they have to part. Neelathamara is the remake of the old Malayalam movie of the same name. She had won many awards for her acting in this movie. In fact more than the movie, a song in the movie "Anuraga Vilochananayi" was more hit. It gave her lot of fame as she was the central character in that song.
Aravaan, directed by Vasanthabalan was her first movie in Tamil. This movie was released in the year 2012. The name of Archana's character in this movie is "Chimitti", a bold and aggressive woman. She had once said in an interview that she had faced slight difficulties while working in this movie as she was not fluent with the Madurai Tamil.
n 2013 she also made her Telugu debut in Backbench Student. Archana stated that she played "a college girl caught in a sweet love tale" in the film.She acted as the lead in Abhiyum Njanum, in which she played a modern girl from Mumbai, who comes to Kerala in search of her fiancee. In Honey Bee she played a naïve Anglo-Indian girl Sara. She played s supporting role as the hero Karthik's best friend in Pattam Pole. Her next films Bangles in which she played a junior artiste, and Nadodimannan in which she played a doctor, both released on the same day.
Mummy & Me, Best of Luck, Salt N' Pepper, Spanish Masala, Nadodimannan, Bangles, Mazhavillinattam Vare, Gnana Kirukkan, Kukkiliyar, Abhiyum Njanum, Backbench Student, Honeybee and Once Upon A Time are the others movies related to Archana Kavi.
She has anchored the show "Bloody Love" on Yes Indiavision. Currently she is anchoring the Malayalam show "Sundari Neeyum Sundaran Njanum" telecasted in Asianet. It is a reality show for TV serial actors. With her outstanding communication skills and courageous behavior, she is able to handle the show and bring in lot of energy to it, thereby attracting more viewers.
