Birth and family

Kum Sanusha was born on 3rd November 1994 at Kannur, Kerala State in India. Her parents are Sri Santhosh and Smt Usha. She has a brother by name Sri Anoop. Sanusha and baby Sanusha are the screen names. Her actual name is Anusha. At home she is called as Ammu. 

Film Career of Sanusha

Sanusha started her career as actress In T V serials as child artist. She became very popular in T V serials circles. This gave her opportunity in the film world as she was noticed as a talented artist. Sanusha started acting in films as a child artist. The first film she acted in was 'Dada Sahib' under the director Sri Vinayan. That was in the year 2000. After that she has acted in Meesa Madhavan 2002 and Manjupoloru Penkutti, Maampazhakkaalam, Kaazhcha in 2004 and Bangaram and Keerthi Chakra in 2006. All these were as child artist. 

The first matured role was also under director Vinayan in a Tamil film Nalai Namathey. In her next Tamil movie Renigunta she acted as heroine. Her third movie in Tamil is Nandi directed by Tamil Vaanan opposite to Akhil as hero. A current Tamil movie is Eththan with Vimal as hero under the direction of Suresh. Next Tamil movie in the pipe line is Parimala thiraiarangam. Her debut in the Malayalam film industry is in the film Mr Marumakan opposite to Dileep scheduled to release in Onam season.

Some of the films acted by Sanusha are Dada Sahib in 2000, Karumadi Kuttan and Kasi and in 2001, Kanmashi Meesa Madhavan and Sundara Travels in 2002, Ente veedu Appuvinteyum 2003, Manjupoloru Penkutti, Kaazhcha, Soumyam and Maampazhakkaalam in 2004, Bangaram (Telugu) and Keerthi chakra in 2006, Chhota Mumbai in 2007, Bheema and Nalai Namathey in 2008, Renigunta in 2009 and Nandi, Eththan, Parimala thiraiarangam and Mr Marumakan. 

Though she hails from Kerala & has acted in Malayalam films, it should be noted that she proved her talents in the Tamil as well as Telugu films respectively. She was ready to do both characters resembling the modern & ordinary characters. In some film she acted the role of modern girls. For that she worked very hard to reduce her body weight. This talented girl is not only an actress but also a good singer. Actually her original name was Ayilya G Nair. But her name was changed to Ananya while acting in the film Naadodigal. There is a pleasant smile in her face. Ananya entered the film industry through a TV programme telecasted in Kairali TV. Her debut Malayalam film Positive was released in the year 2008. The director of the film was V. K. Prakash. Apart from this, she acted in Malayalam films like Rahasya Police, Shikkar, Fiddle, Oru Small Family, Kandahar, Ithu Nammude Katha, Seniors etc. She got the opportunity to work with directors like K. Madhu, M. Padmakumar, Rajasenan, Rajesh Kannakara, Vyshakh & many more.

Besides Sanusha was a very popular child artist in several Malayalam T V Serials.

Sanusha has won the Kerala State Film Award for best Child artist Kaazhcha and Soumyam in 2004.
